Bloomberg Square Mile Relay
From time to time Mizuho RA Leasing (Formerly known as Rent Alpha Private Ltd.) contributes to the society by participating in charitable events. This year Mizuho RA Leasing (Formerly known as Rent Alpha Private Ltd.) participated in the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay. Proceeds from this event were contributed to Magic Bus. Magic Bus is one of the largest poverty alleviation programs in India, working with more than 375,000 children and young people in 22 States and 77 Districts of the country. In Mumbai, they work with some of the poorest children and young people living in poverty, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods using methodology that integrates sport, play and games. The long-term and sustainable outcome is that they equip these young people with the life skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty.
E-Waste Disposal : Making a green move
Electronic waste (e-waste) is one of the fastest-growing pollution problems worldwide given the presence of a variety of toxic substances which can contaminate the environment and threaten human health, if disposal protocols are not meticulously managed. The key to success in terms of e-waste management is to develop eco-design devices, properly collect e-waste, recover and recycle material by safe methods, dispose of e-waste by suitable techniques, forbid the transfer of used electronic devices to developing countries, and raise awareness of the impact of e-waste.
At Mizuho RA Leasing (Formerly known as Rent Alpha Private Ltd.), we understand these challenges and have partnered with M/s. Auctus E-Recycling Solution (P) Ltd as a Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO) for collection & channelization of E-waste which will be obligated under collection target of company under E-waste rule 2016 under its extended producer responsibility (EPR). This combines our core expertise and skills with our commitment to social responsibility.
