Jinesh Jain
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jinesh Jain founded the Rent Alpha Group (now known as the Mizuho RA Leasing Group) in March 2014 and has over 29 years of experience, including more than 24 years in the equipment leasing industry. Prior to founding the company, he served as Head of Business Development at RentWorks India Pvt. Ltd. from 2002 to 2014, following his tenure in Institutional Sales at Hewlett Packard India.
Under his leadership, the Mizuho RA Leasing Group has emerged as a leading player in the equipment leasing industry, with equipment under lease exceeding USD 2 billion and a workforce of over 200+ employees. He has extensive expertise in structuring equipment lease transactions and raising non-recourse funding through the sale of receivables to banks and NBFCs. He also serves as the Managing Director of Mizuho Capsave Finance Pvt. Ltd., an NBFC with over USD 500 million in assets under management. In 2023, he successfully led the majority stake sale of the business to Mizuho Leasing, Japan.
Praveen Chauhan
Non-Executive Director
Praveen has over 28 years of experience in large account management, residual risk management, credit risk assessment and sales & marketing across diverse industry segments in India, including more than 20 years in the equipment leasing industry and over 10 years in establishing and running an NBFC.
Prior to Mizuho leasing, he served as Country Head Large Account Management at RentWorks India Pvt. Ltd. Before that, he held key roles at Xerox Corporation and HCL Technologies. As a Non-Executive Director, Mr. Chauhan provides strategic guidance and governance, drawing on his extensive expertise in large account management, risk management, and asset lifecycle management to support the company’s long-term growth and direction.
Ashok Biyani
Chief Financial Officer
Ashok has 25+ years of experience in finance & accounts function, having worked with clients across sectors. His core strength lies in analysis and driving solutions for complex business structures within the legal and regulatory frameworks.
Ashok has been working with businesses at various life cycles, including start-ups, mid-corporates, large MNCs, and have supported them to scale-up by laying internal processes and automation flexible to the operational requirement. Ashok holds a professional degree in CA and CTM from ICFAI.
Sanjay Shroff
Chief Business Officer - Plant & Machinery
Sanjay has over 22 years work experience in corporate finance, investment banking and equipment leasing. He was the Equipment Finance and Leasing – Head for GE Capital India and Edelweiss Capital Limited.
Earlier, he also managed Finance and Risk at RentWorks India. As an Investment Banker with Edelweiss and Ernst and Young, he has affected PE raises, IPOs, M&A transactions and Project finance raises.
Dhriti Barman
Chief Risk Officer (Rent Alpha's NBFC Subsidiary - Mizuho Capsave Finance Pvt Ltd.)
Dhriti has over 25 years of experience in commercial lending, with expertise in corporate, SME, supply chain, microfinance, and equipment finance. He has held senior risk leadership roles at Aditya Birla Finance, HSBC Bank, Citi Bank, and ICICI Bank.
At Mizuho RA Leasing Group, he serves as the Chief Risk Officer of its NBFC arm, Mizuho Capsave Finance Pvt. Ltd., leading the risk function and building strong, scalable lending portfolios. He holds an MBA in Finance from Fore School of Management and an M.Com in Accountancy from the University of Calcutta.
Brijesh Mitra
Chief Business Officer – Technology and Office Infrastructure
Brijesh brings over 25 years of experience in equipment leasing, vendor finance, and structured asset financing. At Mizuho RA Leasing, he leads the IT equipment, office infrastructure, and aviation leasing businesses with end-to-end P&L responsibility.
Since 2015, he has successfully led the Lenovo Financial Services India program, a key pillar of the company’s technology leasing portfolio. Prior to joining Mizuho RA Leasing, he held leadership roles at Rent Works, GE Money, and ORIX, building expertise across diverse asset classes and leasing solutions. An MBA in Marketing, Brijesh is based in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, travel, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
